5 tips to keep your vulva happy and healthy
Do not use soap
Soap makes the vulva dry and prone to infection. Dryness can lead to a number of very unpleasant health problems that you don't want to have, such as anal fissures, chronic inflammation and yeast infections, to name a few.
Bottomless
Leave your underwear off as often as possible so you can air things out. Go to the gym but only with your underwear on so you have an extra layer between you and the equipment.
Wear cotton underwear
That's why most pants have a thin strip of cotton fabric at the crotch. It's breathable and absorbs moisture, making it the ideal garment for your ladyparts. Be sure to wash them at 60° Celsius.
Exercise
Strong pelvic floor muscles are the key to mind-blowing orgasms. It also controls the bladder and is very important to avoid problems later on.
Take probiotics
Ladies, does the thought of countless bacteria living on your vulva make you cringe? Well, it shouldn't. The vulva and vagina are home to over 50 unique species of bacteria. However, many of these strains of bacteria are far from harmful because they are probiotics - the good bacteria.
The vaginal microflora needs to be in balance for good health. If there are no friendly bacteria to keep the pathogens at bay, the pathogens can cause a variety of diseases and infections.
Taking probiotics daily helps to balance the vaginal microflora and may even cure some vaginal diseases.
